Principals Message

Dear Hurricanes,          

On behalf of the Hinson Middle School faculty and staff, it is truly our pleasure to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to you.  It is the goal of the Hinson Middle School faculty and staff to work with you to create a rich learning environment for all students.  We will continue to ask for your support and input in establishing an inspiring and rigorous environment at Hinson Middle School.

Our school wide focus this year is centered around students with disabilities and the lower quartile students in math and ELA.   Our faculty and staff will continue to foster collective efficacy and support effective instructional practices to increase learning.  It is our mission to empower students to grow academically, socially, and emotionally by developing and supporting independent thinkers and problem solvers who strive for excellence in the classroom and community.  Your participation within our school is critical to your child's and to our school's success.  We value your hard work, support, and dedication and realize that we cannot do the important job of educating your child without your help.  This is truly a team effort!​
